About the Dentist
Dr. Richard Amo is a 1978 graduate of the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry, in San Francisco, Calif. Prior to this he earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California at Davis(1975).

Dr. Richard Amo is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, and the Orange County Dental Society. In 1999 he served as President of the Orange County Dental Society.

Dr. Richard Amo served as a part-time clinical instructor at the University of Southern California School of Dentistry for 11 years.
|
|
|
|
Dr. Richard Amo has a special interest in implant dentistry and sports dentistry. He served on the medical staff for World Cup Soccer in 1994.

FAGD - Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry - General dentists do not specialize in any one facet of dentistry. According to the AGD, an FAGD "has been recognized by other dentists as a leader who is committed to quality patient care through continuing dental education." An FAGD dentist must earn a minimum of 500 approved continuing dental education credits and pass a comprehensive 400-question examination; s/he must also be an Academy of General Dentistry member for five continuous years.

Fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy, member of the Kovats Academy of Prosthodontic Research, and the North Orange County Implant Study Club.

Dr. Richard Amo has been practicing dentistry in Fullerton since 1978.
